01 Who We Are
This website is operated by halli.dev, a UK-based AI automation service. We can be contacted at contact@halli.dev.
We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used when you visit halli.dev.
02 What Data We Collect
We collect two types of data on this site:
- Analytics data — only if you consent, via Google Analytics (see section 03)
- Contact data — if you email us directly via a mailto link, your email address and the content of your message
We do not: use contact forms, collect names or payment details on this site, use advertising cookies, or sell your data to any third party.
03 Cookies & Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site — for example, which pages are visited most and how users navigate the site. This helps us improve the content and experience.
Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymised usage data. We have configured it with IP anonymisation enabled, meaning your full IP address is never stored.
Analytics cookies are only placed on your device if you click Accept Analytics on the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and Google Analytics does not load.
Your cookie preference is stored in your browser's local storage under the key halli_cookie_consent. You can reset your preference at any time below.
Done — reload the page and the cookie banner will reappear.
04 Google Analytics Data
If you consent, the following data may be collected by Google Analytics:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Approximate geographic location (country/region level only)
- Browser type, device type, and screen size
- Referring website (where you came from)
This data is processed by Google LLC and stored on Google's servers. Google may transfer this data outside the UK/EEA. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.
05 Legal Basis for Processing
Under UK GDPR, our legal bases for processing data are:
- Consent — analytics cookies are only placed with your explicit consent
- Legitimate interests — responding to enquiries sent directly to us by email
06 Data Retention
Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. Email enquiries are retained for as long as necessary to respond and for reasonable follow-up, and are not shared with third parties.
07 Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for analytics at any time (use the reset button above)
- Lodge a complaint with the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office)
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@halli.dev.
08 Third-Party Links
This site contains links to third-party websites including Haulion and Xelionics. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and recommend reviewing their privacy policies separately.
09 Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
